A Perfect Evening
The sun had set and people settled in. Happy chatter echoed in the room. Everyone's faces had smiles and these lit up the room. Everything not only looked but felt beautiful too. The room was decorated with flowers and arches and balloons and candles. There was a musical piece being performed by two young men. The music faded in with the happiness in the room. It seemed as if magic was flying out, as one played the keys on his piano and the other strummed the strings on his guitar. The beauty that this moment carried was something beyond words.
On the right was the Tankbund with the Buddha's statue standing right in the middle. In the distance were the city lights shining all in white on one side and yellow on the other. There was the commotion of the traffic, but the calmness of the water and the happiness in everyone's hearts had dimmed it down. Love was in the air. The statue was shining in blue. The water was reflecting every color, so wonderfully that these reflections fused with each other, painting the sky's canvas to look like the aurora. The breezes calmly played their tunes to which hearts started dancing. Everything felt dream-like.

There was a sudden machine sound. The people calmed down and started looking around. The ceiling of the room was drawn away, bringing us some new company. It was the moon, calling in the stars to give them the good news. The stars all gathered around and twinkled brighter than ever as if to curiously listen. The moon then started to say "The day has arrived. The day when two souls are finally becoming one. The day when everything is going to fall in place for them. The day when they stand as one, smile as one, and start living as one. The day when their worlds will become one. "
"We do," they said, as they began exchanging rings. Their love for each other was the reason why those amazingly bright smiles were on their faces. Just the two words had to be spoken, for them to start living their dream. The dream to share with each other, their entire lives. People were clapping and cheering, loudly and heartfully. The stars joined in with the crowd to clap for their love while the moon leaned in, towards the earth, to bless them both. Not a word was uttered by any of the two, but their eyes spoke volumes. These eyes held the promises they were silently making to each other, to love and be there for each other.
They held hands, to proudly say to each other "I'm glad to be yours from now. "
