Does Time Bind Everything?

We live in a world bound by time.  A world where days are numbered,  years are counted and moments cherished. A world where all things are ranked and ideas statistically charted. A world where curious minds found it a necessity to map the time the earth takes to rotate, revolve,  the time light takes to reach us and for everything else.  Basically, this world we live in looks like its hung in space by the strings of time. That's why they say 'time and tide wait for no man'. That's why they say 'seize the day'. That's why they say 'live like there's no tomorrow'. This is what drilled into us, time ticks away and with it, life.  

Human minds are programmed to be subservient to this law of time, but human hearts, or to be precise, hearts in love, can clearly defy it. They prove that parallel world's exist, contained within these hearts. They have the power to tap into these parallel universes which defy every other law, only bowing down to love.  

When these hearts fall prey to love, they alter every principle, moulding the world into a fantasy filled with magic. Not mere exaggerations, I assure you, these do become realities once your heart finds itself another one, vast enough to pour its love into it. Time’s stream freezes into beautiful snowflakes each containing within itself a memory to treasure. The winds seem to whisper to you snippets of that love that’s handcrafted for you. Drops fly up in the air to touch the clouds which reflect glimpses of those love-filled ecstasies. Love is why. 

Time doesn’t bind love. Love binds time. Time flies by in love yet stays still at the same time. Love’s oceans extend into infinity yet fit into a fistful. It roars like a lion yet possesses the calm of an ocean. It flows by, nourishes and lifts up. It embraces, envelops and protects. It makes one weak in the knees but gives them the strength, enough to tear down any wall that tries to contain it. It is as gentle as a mother handling a newborn yet fierce as a warrior in a battlefield. It rights the wrongs , evens out the odds and gracefully adorns the canvas of life.

A Stained-Glass Masterpiece

  It was a nice pleasant evening. I could hear the birds chirping and their shadows dancing around in the glorious sunset. The oranges bounced off the glass windows, and the breezes carried hints of everything they touched. I could hear the hustle hush down and the rustle of the leaves begin. I could feel the warmth of the last murmurs of the sun in the evening sky. The view was beyond picturesque to my eyes. How so many things, being so different, still blend together seamlessly, to make one masterpiece; so flawlessly put together that they cease to exist on their own, was something I couldn’t fathom.  Someone walked by. Not my forte

When there are a hundred other ways to pass time,  a thousand other ways to be productive, and countless other talents that turn heads, do you wonder why I still choose to write? It's because I fell in love with writing. Others might write for a lot of reasons.  They write to earn,  to showcase their forte,  to inform, to manipulate, to bring about some change, to attract attention, or to earn a reputation.  There might be a million other reasons why someone would want to write.   For the people who know me,  you might think you know why I write.
